Link: PWNL FAMILY FEATURED IN THE WASINGTON POST

After living in 14 foster/temporary care placements - Frenice (then age 11) had given up on finding a “forever family”.  Little did she know that her parents were working with PWNL to find her.  Since her adoption Frenice has blossomed into a wonderful advocate on behalf of older child adoption.  She is the first to admit that the road has not always been easy and that she at times can be a challenging teen to parent.  However, this family is a testament to the wonderful impact of love and commitment on a child.  Please follow the link to read more of Frenice’s story as featured in the Washington Post.
