Adoptee Fear and Belonging: Helping Your Child Navigate Racism in Today’s Immigration Climate

November 7 | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. ET | Virtual
$25 per family

Led by Nabina Liebow, Ph.D., this workshop will help adoptive parents understand how racism and today’s immigration climate may affect an adopted child’s sense of safety, identity, and belonging. Parents will learn how fear and uncertainty may appear in their child’s emotions, behaviors, and questions—and gain practical strategies for responding with care and confidence.

Barker wants this workshop to be accessible to every family. If the registration fee would prevent you from attending, please contact us. Families who are able to contribute more are invited to help make participation possible for others.
