You Should Be Grateful: A Conversation with Angela Tucker

A National Adoption Month Event
The Barker Adoption Foundation
Free | Registration Required
This National Adoption Month, The Barker Adoption Foundation invites our community to gather, listen and learn with Angela Tucker, author of You Should Be Grateful: Stories of Race, Identity, and Transracial Adoption.
Angela, a nationally recognized transracial adoptee, author and advocate, brings an honest and deeply personal perspective to conversations about race, identity, family, belonging and the complexities of adoption.
During this special evening at Barker, Angela will share from her book and lived experience, followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
Come Ready for the Conversation
Attendees are encouraged to read You Should Be Grateful before the event. Reading the book in advance is not required, but because our time with Angela is limited, it will provide valuable context and an opportunity to engage more deeply in the conversation.
