When Abby's adoption finalization hearing was scheduled for the same day as her first day of school, her entire class came to support her big day! Read the heart warming story of Abby, a 10 year old former foster youth with special needs, being able to share her momentous day with not only her family, but her friends and classmates as well. Abby had been living with her foster mom, Anne, for three years prior to being adopted into the family. "It doesn't get old, Abby is my eighth adoption, and I can honestly say that each one is unique and wonderful every time. It rises to the level of giving birth to your own child", Anne described.
